Support Services Group is a fast-growing, high-touch, global outsourcing partner providing omnichannel contact center solutions across various industries. We are seeking an experienced, Accounting Analyst & Payroll Coordinator to join our expanding Accounting Shared Services Team.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Transaction recording (client invoicing, vendor bill recording, credit card transactions)
  • Review timesheets and attendance records and correct inaccuracies
  • Prepare and submit all necessary paperwork for tax deductions, benefits, and garnishments
  • Analyze compensation-related data including wages and bonuses
  • Oversee payroll transactions (e.g. via e-banking)
  • Conduct regular audits on payroll procedures and records
  • Process benefit costs, like insurance fees and sick leaves
  • Design, document and implement procedures to streamline payroll processes
  • Report to management on payroll issues and changes
  • Answer employees’ questions about salaries and tax
  • Stay up-to-date on state and federal payroll and tax laws

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong financial analysis skills
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Work collaboratively with other accounting within organization
  • Advance knowledge in Microsoft Office (Excel)
  • Proven experience as a Payroll Analyst, Payroll Coordinator, or similar role
  • Deep knowledge of state and federal payroll and tax regulations
  • Hands-on experience with payroll software
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • The ability to work under tight deadlines

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant
  • 1+ years of accounting experience

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Available to work Onsite and Remotely if required.
